Brooklyn, NY native son Malik Rashad is a gifted storyteller and the definition of a modern day renaissance man. With a foundation in music, he has stretched beyond limits as an actor, voice-over artist, music artist and songwriter. 

Malik is currently most recognized for starring as Jason, in the Emmy-nominated hit digital series Tough Love which has been picked up by and currently airing on network channel TVOne. That role carried him to Pillow Talk a cross over break out digital series. Other projects he has starred in include the Discovery ID series Frenemies, short films Death of A Prince, A Kid From Southside and most recently The Booth, Crazy Shit and Adaption.

Additionally, Malik's voice-over work includes projects for major brands such as the NCAA, YouTube, Samsung, Lipton Brisk, Under Armour, Budweiser, VEVO and many more while also voicing characters for audiobooks and podcasts as well.

A versatile and gifted music artist and songwriter, he possesses a genre-bending style fused between hip-hop, soul, r&b and jazz. Gracing the stage at locations all over NYC and the surrounding areas including The Knitting Factory, The Bowery Electric, The Richmond International Film Festival and Brooklyn’s famous International Arts Festival to name a few. He has garnered praise from legends like producer/hitmaker Easy Mo Bee who proclaimed Malik to be “everything hip-hop needs right now” and world-renowned battle rapper Loaded Lux exclaiming “Malik Rashad…mean!! Pay close attention to this brother!” He has curated and written soundtracks, theme songs and singles for different series and other artists. His own music has been featured in numerous series and films including Sundance, Big Apple, Brooklyn Academy of Music film festivals and on the amazingly popular Black & Sexy TV network.
